PolyBase: Adapting to Data Affinity Changes in Geo-Replicated Database via Row-Level Consensus-Group Affiliation Re-Assignment

PolyBase introduces a pioneering architecture to address misalignment in geo-replicated databases, leveraging Paxos-based log replication mechanisms to enable row-level consensus-group affiliation re-assignment. This significantly reduces wide-area RTTs without compromising consistency or reliability.
